The nine Punjab boards announce the 12th class result 2026 (2nd year, Inter Part-II) together on Wednesday, 23 September 2026 at 10:00 AM PKT, according to the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) schedule. In 2025, the result was announced on 18 Sep 2025.

All Federal boardsBIEK announces the 12th class (HSC Part-II) result in Karachi. BSEK handles matric only. Sindh boards often release results group by group.
Eight BISE boards conduct the HSSC exams in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Their results usually come within a few days of each other.

Marks and grades
The passing marks for the 12th class result 2026 are 33% in each subject at most boards, because the previous grading scheme still applies to HSSC Part-II this year. IBCC's new 10-grade scheme, with 40% passing marks, applies to 12th class from 2027.
Correction to a common claim: some websites say 12th class passing marks are 40% in 2026. That is not correct for most boards. IBCC started the new scheme with 9th and 11th class in 2026, and FBISE applies it to HSSC Part-II from the 2027 annual exams. Punjab boards were not on IBCC's list of adopting boards in September 2026. Total HSSC marks are 1,100 at most boards (Part-I and Part-II combined).

The FA, FSc, ICS and ICom results 2026 are part of the same 12th class result, so every group uses the same board result website, SMS code and gazette. Only the subjects on your result card are different.

After the 12th class result 2026, you can apply for rechecking if you doubt your marks, sit the supplementary exam to pass or improve a subject, and use your result card for university admissions.
If you doubt your marks, apply for rechecking on your board's official website. Boards open the rechecking window soon after the result, usually for about two weeks, and charge a fee for each subject.
Rechecking guideIf you failed a subject or want better marks, you can sit the supplementary exam. Punjab boards start supplementary exams on 3 November 2026 and plan to announce the result on 12 January 2027. Other boards publish their own schedules.
Supplementary result datesBoards name the top students of each group (Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, ICS, ICom and Humanities) at a result ceremony on or just before result day.

Yes, but only at some boards. Many boards allow roll number search only. If your board has no name search, use its official result gazette where one is published, or ask your college for your roll number.
Each board has its own SMS code. BISE Lahore uses 800291, where you send only your roll number. FBISE uses 5050, where you type FB, a space and your roll number. The SMS table lists the codes of all Punjab boards.
The passing marks are 33% in each subject at most boards for the 2026 12th class result, because the previous grading scheme still applies. IBCC's new scheme with 40% passing marks applies to 12th class from 2027.
The HSSC certificate is out of 1,100 marks at most boards. This total combines Part-I (11th class) and Part-II (12th class). Your result card shows your Part-II marks and the combined total.
The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) announces the HSC Part-II (12th class) result in Karachi, usually group by group. The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) handles matric only.
